Will you be photographing our wedding or will it be someone else?

Because weddings are booked in advance and photographers move around
(and change careers) like everyone else these days, it's not unusual for a
photographer to move on by the time your wedding day rolls around if you're
dealing with a large studio.

There's not much you can do to prevent this other than follow up by asking
when you can meet the photographer who will actually be photographing
your wedding. You should insist on meeting before the wedding since you
and the photographer will be spending a lot of time together, the photographer
should be someone you find pleasant to be around. You should also ask to
see samples of that photographer's work.

Even if you've been dealing with a salesperson you should insist on meeting
your photographer.
