Anyone for bowling? Wouldn't that be nice?

  I am not a bowler. That is to say I'm not good at it, but we're doing a story on an old bowling alley that has been closed for years. It looks like they closed the place in a hurry and left a lot of stuff inside. Of course I'm not sure what one would do with dozens of dusty bowling balls and bowling pins which are scattered about the place. I'm wandering around in the cold because there is no heat and no electricity , trying to avoid getting the reporter in my photos. I am using the flashli...

Winter at Last

We have been lucky because this winter has been very mild in the mid western USA until now. However Mother Nature has decided to remind us what the "normal" winter is like. The temperature outside now is 6 degrees, but because of the wind it feels like 13 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. Yikes and it's supposed to be even worse tomorrow. There will be some interesting cold weather photos to be made I'm sure.

Four Weddings in 25 Minutes

Every Wednesday and Friday afternoon couples of all ages gather at our local courthouse to marry. Men and women of all ages and races come together for short, succinct ceremonies that bind them together. On January 6 a reporter and I went to the courthouse to report on the activity. We’re normally in the stately old building to cover the felonies and other mayhem so common these days.

First Show of 2016

I have juried into my first show of 2016 on March 12 at the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Indiana which is exciting since I've never seen the RV Hall of Fame. I hope to introduce some new work at the time.
