I was out for an evening run and we encountered this rusty steel knife laying in the street. At first I picked it up and placed it on the side of the road. Then I thought it might make a cool photo so I took it with me, until it occurred to me that it might look kind of odd for this guy in running clothes to be carrying a large butcher knife down the street while jogging. This old car

I've become fascinated with old cars. I'm not "a car guy", but this is the front seat of a Hudson from the 1930's recently found on a farm where it had been sitting for God know how long. Think about it. Someone tooled around town, went to the bank, maybe the grocery store in this car before World War II. There were no smart phones, microwave ovens,jet planes or space exploration. None of those things had even been dreamed of yet. In the end the car was sold for scrap...seems like a shame to me.
